Sıhhiye Parking Garage
The Sıhhiye Parking Lot Concept Project aims to revitalize the existing unused parking structure by fostering a strong interaction with its urban environment and providing high-quality public spaces that meet the needs of the community. The project seeks to transform the parking area from a mere parking facility into a vibrant new living space focused on social, cultural, commercial, and educational activities. In this context, the potential of the building is leveraged to establish strong connections with surrounding key structures and public spaces, positioning the Sıhhiye district as a significant attraction hub.
The presence of significant neighbors such as TED University and Kurtuluş Park, important educational and green spaces, presents a great opportunity for this project. This environmental and urban context has provided a strong foundation for the adaptive reuse of the parking structure as a mixed-use building, while also highlighting its potential to create a space that fosters increased social interaction. In this regard, the project aims to be not just a building but a harmonious urban hub that enriches city life.
Ankara-Konya Yolu cephesinden tahsis edilen geniş alan, davetkar bir alan olarak tasarlanan “Kent Meydanı”dır. Açık hava gösterilerinin yapılabileceği bir amfi tiyatro ve bir sahne sanatları merkezine giriş Kent meydanında yer almaktadır. Kent Meydanı ayrıca proje alanında ayrılmış bir alışveriş caddesi ile Tekstilciler Caddesi’ne bağlanmaktadır. Kent meydanı, hem zemin seviyesinde beslendiği potansiyel aktiviteler hem de sahne sanatları merkezi ile şehrin çekim merkezi olmaya adaydır.
Proje alanının güneyindeki ofis kütlelerinin ortasında bırakılan alan olan “Ofis Plaza”, diğer meydanlara kıyasla daha mütevazı bir ölçekte, ofis kullanıcıları ve kampüs ziyaretçileri için bir sosyalleşme alanı olarak tasarlanmıştır.
Ölçek ve konum açısından proje sadece bir arazi parçası olarak değil, şehrin simgelerinden biri olarak ele alınıp kentsel tasarım kriterlerini göz önünde bulundurarak tasarlanmıştır.
