ACE Architecture Office
Office buildings are important spaces as their users spend a significant portion of their lives there, almost comparable to residential buildings. Today, office buildings are often designed with glass walls, based on the assumption that employees need little more than a desk and a chair.

ACE Architecture Office
Contrasting the monotonous, apartment-style buildings arising from regulatory requirements, one of the project's primary concerns has been how to achieve a contemporary office building in a context highly prone to such uniformity. On the other hand, while complying with regulations to create a coherent architectural tectonic and building form, designing a modern structure that accommodates the variability and adaptability of office buildings has been established as a key design objective.
The project has undergone a design process based on the concepts of modularity, adaptability, and creating spaces on each floor that can serve different functions. As a result, a dynamic office environment was achieved. Vertical circulations concentrated on a single facade enabled the creation of as wide and spacious interior areas as possible. This solution also allows individual floors to be combined and used together according to varying needs.

The building, which aims to be a pioneer in demonstrating that office structures can offer adaptable, modular, and comfortable use at a human scale, emphasizes its character through balconies designed for different office units on various floors and the resulting dynamism on the facade. Additionally, this office building established a second design criterion for ACE Mimarlık itself: to provide the necessary spaces across three floors—the ground floor and two basement levels—dedicated to ACE Mimarlık’s own use, beginning from a small office floor. This requirement defined the second phase of the design process.

For the three floors used by ACE Office, in addition to the common circulation area on the exterior, a new vertical circulation core has been created, prioritizing security and user comfort. The ground floor, as the most intensively used level, houses the open office, library, and coordinator rooms. The first basement floor accommodates a comprehensive, technologically equipped meeting room and the general manager’s office—two of the office’s most important needs. This spatial separation allows guests arriving for meetings to be hosted in the meeting room or the general manager’s office without accessing the open office floor. The second basement floor is designed as a fully open space without any partition walls, except for a separate kitchen area. This floor serves as a multifunctional space that can function as a cafeteria for employees, a room for playing table tennis, or, due to the absence of partitions, a conference hall suitable for events or large meetings when needed.
