Beytepe – Lodumu Residential Project
The Beytepe–Lodumu Residential Project is a settlement design that aims to strengthen the sense of community and enhance the feeling of belonging by bringing together different family structures.
The initial impact of the design is achieved through the placement of the site entrances facing each other on the same street, allowing the act of “arriving home” to begin within the street itself. In this way, residents' connection to the space is shaped as a continuous experience—from the entrance to the broader neighborhood.

The project consists of three low-rise and three high-rise blocks, offering a variety of apartment types—ranging from 2+1 to 6+1—designed to meet diverse needs. The sloped topography of the site allows the buildings to orient toward the surrounding forest views without obstructing one another.
The landscape design aims to integrate elements of nature into urban living. Urban furniture and water features placed throughout rest, leisure, and gathering areas encourage user interaction. Additionally, the sensory experience provided by the reflecting pool enhances the users’ sense of connection to the space.

The plazas between the blocks encourage social interaction and gathering, while green areas at varying elevations—featuring stepped seating with an amphitheater-like quality and grassy mounds—offer residents spaces for relaxation, conversation, or play with children.

The shared amenities integrated into the residential units—such as social facilities, sports areas, and cinema rooms—foster stronger neighborly relations both physically and socially. The project aims to accommodate various family structures and lifestyles, responding to the evolving needs of its users.
