Bilkent Nazende
Housing is defined as “a private domain for the family, the fundamental unit of society.” 'Bilkent Nazende' aims to integrate people with the urban fabric while preserving the sense of privacy inherent in the concept of housing. Planned with a focus on the harmony between nature and humanity, the orientation of the residential units is designed to maximize the effective use of the landscape.

The inner courtyard, shaped by the layout of the development, incorporates urban furniture and a water feature designed to support activities such as relaxation, recreation, and social interaction—adapting natural elements of the city into residential life. Together with the pond, the wooden bridge fosters interaction among all users, enhancing the communal experience.
The plazas and small squares created for each residential cluster serve as social spaces for gathering and community interaction. In the southeast of the project area, sports facilities, a basketball court, and a fitness area are located, while to the east, children's playgrounds and shading elements are designed—creating spaces that cater to all age groups.

In the planting design, the spatial composition and layout of the buildings were carefully considered. Landscape elements were selected and placed based on seasonal transitions—taking into account trunk and foliage characteristics, visual impact, color, texture, scent, and aesthetic qualities—with the intention of appealing to each individual homeowner.

With consideration for diverse living conditions and various family types and sizes, the project offers 19 apartment types and a total of 315 residential units. The social facility, planned in connection with the residential units, includes cinema and activity rooms that help strengthen neighborly relations. Addressing both individual lifestyles and broader community needs, 'Bilkent Nazende' responds to the requirements of families of different scales and the necessities of social life, while embracing the human–nature duality.
By minimizing the integration of vehicular roads within the residential layout, the project aims to create a traffic-free social environment and ensure the safety of children. Continuous walking and cycling paths are incorporated into the landscape design to support essential physical activities.
