NODE Ankara

The project site is located on Mevlana Boulevard, one of Ankara’s main transportation arteries, also known as Konya Yolu. This corridor played a significant role in shaping the project’s massing and spatial organization. Inspired by the site’s position at the intersection of major transit routes and its multifunctional nature, the project was named NODE Ankara, drawing from the Turkish word “node,” meaning connection point.

Considering its location and the area's development potential, the project is expected to host residential, office, hotel, and commercial functions that will actively contribute to the surrounding environment. Given the high density of commercial and office units in neighboring parcels, an art building—designed to address a perceived gap in the vicinity—has been proposed as an additional function to add value to the project.

NODE Street, strategically positioned to connect the project’s three main levels, links commercial units at varying elevations while enhancing pedestrian access through an open space layout. The residential blocks rising above the commercial base offer vibrant street views alongside panoramic vistas of Ankara’s cityscape. NODE Botanik, accessible from the upper level, is situated within a migratory garden and is designed as a landscaped open space within the buildings, providing a tranquil retreat away from the city’s noise. While Ankara’s skyline is typically characterized by low- to mid-rise buildings, NODE Ankara is planned to stand out prominently in the city silhouette and aims to secure a memorable place in the urban memory.
