Serhatlar Mixed Use Project
Designed by ACE Mimarlık, the mixed-use project located in the Serhatlar neighborhood of İvedikköy, Ankara, comprises both commercial and residential units. Situated on a sloped terrain, the project draws reference from the topography, enabling access to commercial spaces located at different levels. This design approach allows the buildings to rise in harmony with the land, while enriching the spatial experience for users.
The commercial units, accessible from different levels, are positioned along the street fronts to maximize the commercial potential of the area. Open spaces designed in front of these units strengthen the connection between the street and the interior spaces. Meanwhile, a separate landscaped area has been planned in the rear garden for the residential units. This arrangement allows both zones to function independently and efficiently within their own dynamics.
With the proposed mixed-use project, the architectural standards of the area are elevated, offering users a dynamic and modern lifestyle.
24 saatlik yaşam döngüsünü amaçlayan ‘Velux Ankara’; konut dokusu ve kentteki eylem biçimlerini -yürümek, sosyalleşmek, servis almak, alışveriş yapmak, spor yapmak- kültür kongre salonu, yeme-içme, sosyal tesis, etkinlik alanı, açık amfi ve faaliyet odaları gibi mekânlar barındırarak küçük bir kent parçası gibi çalışır. Farklı yönlerden erişime açılan bir meydan –göçer bahçe- etrafında konumlanan ticari birimler ile açık alışveriş planlaması oluşturulmuştur.
The residential units are designed in various sizes and configurations to accommodate different lifestyles. By incorporating features such as underground parking, social, cultural, and recreational spaces, gallery voids within the blocks for natural light and ventilation, continuous balconies along the façades, and setback terraces that create open spaces, the project aims to transcend the conventional boundaries of contemporary residential architecture.
The elevation difference that defines the landscaped garden, the residential units surrounding it, the commercial spaces integrated into the street layout, and the inclusion of residential units with open spaces facing the street all contribute to making 'Velux Ankara' function as a compact urban fragment.
