Yozgat Swimming Pool
The Yozgat Pool project is more than just a conventional pool building; it is designed to meet the city's need for a social center, which is currently lacking. In this context, it was conceived with the aim of creating the most comfortable and functional spaces for city residents, while also serving as a pioneering structure in terms of both function and form for the future of urban development.

				Yozgat Swimming Pool
The fact that Yozgat is still developing in socio-cultural terms has been one of the most fundamental criteria guiding the design of the structure, which includes an Olympic-size swimming pool, water park, and thermal pool. User demands were evaluated at the provincial level, and the expectation that the structure would be differentiated between male and female use was an important input in the design of the social facility. This structure, where the spatial layout facilitates such differentiation, has become a social focal point that particularly enables women to socialize.

The control of sunlight and its relationship with water has been another factor that played an active role in the design process. Patterned sunshades used in the facade design allow natural light to enter the building in a controlled manner, while water, light, and the relationship between these elements create a shadow play. As a result, the sunshades have transformed into elements that enrich the interior space, going beyond their role as mere natural light control devices. On the one hand, these elements have played a dominant role in the facade design, taking on different color tones at every hour of the day and even varying for different viewing angles, thereby altering the perception of the structure and supporting the building's aesthetic appeal.
